Meets weekly on Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 PM on Zoom

We will spend ten weeks reading through the book of ACTS and taking a closer/deeper look through engaging and meaningful teachings, discussions and fellowship.  We will learn, grow, worship, and pray together through the lens of the Holy Spirit.  I am excited to tackle questions like, "What's the Big Idea?", and see how Luke's writings in the book of Acts relate to today's church and the world as a whole.  Join me and see how God's word remains timeless and timely in the midst of an ever-changing world. • Rediscipling the White Church Life Group

    THIS GROUP IS FULL.

    JANUARY 19-MARCH 24

Meets weekly on Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 PM on Zoom

Join Aimee Tucker and Joel Selking (Vineyard alum) for a Justice & Reconciliation Team book study on Rediscipling the White Church: From Cheap Diversity to True Solidarity. Aimee shares, "For those of us who are white, who are also followers of Jesus, we are rightly troubled when we confront the racial injustice in our society, but we wonder how we should respond. That's why I'm grateful for this book written by fellow southside pastor, David Swanson, that I believe will be an excellent roadmap for us as we imagine together holistic, communal discipleship practices that can re-form us as members of Christ’s diverse body." The group will be limited to 10 participants to allow for discussion. After the group finishes, the Life Group will have the special honor of being joined by author David Swanson for an evening of Q & A on March 24. Register below to reserve your space, and please order the book to begin reading the first chapter.
