What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of group conversations that explore life, spirituality, and faith through a Christian lens. We meet online over 11 weeks to watch a short video and look at a different question that is designed to create conversation and discussion.

Is Alpha for me?

Alpha is a safe place, and all are welcome. Millions of people have attended Alpha course from all backgrounds, religions and diverse views. The Vineyard Church is hosting this course starting in September. We create a non-judgmental and open environment where it’s easy for anyone who is atheist, skeptic, or just curious about faith to explore questions of life with new friends. Participants come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, and the claims of Jesus.

How much does it cost?

Alpha is free to attend – the cost is 1.25 hrs of your time each week.

Dates and Times:

Join us each week on Sunday evenings from 7:00 pm CST to 8:15 pm CST starting Sunday, September 13th.

What can I expect?

Each week we will follow a similar format

7:00 pm: WELCOME - Get to meet new people, make new friends

7:10 pm: WATCH - Small film with big ideas

7:40 pm: DISCUSS - In a virtual breakout room your host will lead a conversation where you can share your thought on faith

and life and hear from others. You are free to say whatever you like, or as little as you like and listen to the views of others.

8:15 pm: WRAP - Until next week
