Benevolence

Taking care of THOSE IN NEED

As an expression of our devotion to Jesus, each other and others in the world, and in response to the clear biblical instructions to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39), and care for the least of these (Matthew 25:40), the Hyde Park Vineyard Church has established the Benevolence Team to address the basic material needs of people inside our church and within the larger community as a reflection of God’s graciousness, righteousness and compassion (Psalm 116:5). Our encounters with people are intended to draw them closer to Christ.

If you have a need or would like to serve others, e-mail Troy or call at (773) 939-3445.

FOOD PANTRY

Our Food Pantry is open to all each Wednesday and the third Saturday of each month from 2-4 PM. If you would like to donate items to our Food Pantry that will benefit others, please see our recommended items list for donations.

BENEVOLENCE OFFERING

Each year, on both Palm Sunday and the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we give together towards the needs of our church and community. These funds are used for our food pantry, Thanksgiving meals, and ongoing practical needs for individuals. In a season that has been made more challenging for many due to the pandemic, thank you for prayerfully considering how you can give.
